ADD YOUR PEACE- Fundraiser for Peace It Together Summer Program bringing
Palestinian and Israeli Youth to Vancouver
Where:
Roundhouse Community Centre
When:
Sunday, 27th of June 2004 from 7:00 PM until approximately 9:30 PM
In August 2004, Vancouver will play host to Peace It Together, a unique program
that will bring together Canadian, Israeli and Palestinian teenagers to
find common ground through communication, creativity and wilderness experiences.
The program will be an opportunity for young participants and community
members to
increase their awareness about the conflict, become empowered community
leaders and
collaborate toward a common goal.
Come and learn about it from the local Arab and Jewish peacemakers who
have been
working together to make this a reality.
On June 27 , from 7:30-9:30 PM , we invite you to attend a Slide-Show,
Silent Auction, and Information Sharing Event. Come along to the Round
House Community Centre, at the intersection of Davie Street and Pacific
Boulevard in Vancouver.
