The Corporation & Participatory Economics

Where:
Pacific Cinemateque theater (1131 Howe Street)

When:
Saturday, 19th of June 2004 from 1:00 PM until approximately 5:00 PM

Cost: $8

The Vancouver Participatory Economics Collective will be presenting the 
documentary film The Corporation (www.thecorporation.tv) at the Pacific 
Cinemateque theater. The film will be followed by a brief presentation and 
discussion on Participatory Economics(www.parecon.org) till approx. 
5:00pm. There will be intermissions and a chance to leave the theatre before 
we start our presentation. 

Doors open at 1:00pm, the film will start at 1:30. Tickets will be $8 dollars at the 
door and a portion of the proceeds will go to The Spartacus Books Fund and www.thenewstandard.net.

We have invited the films producers Mark Achbar to introduce the film and 
participate in a discussion on Participatory Economics(Parecon). 
However,  we are still waiting for final confirmation of his attendance. We 
will keep you
updated.
