GATHERING ON LAND, WATER AND SOVERIGNITY

Privatization of water and exploitation of natural resources is a struggleaffecting all 
colonized communities around the world who continue to fight corporate globalization

Speakers:
* Lynn Trudeau (International Solidarity Movement-Vancouver): water 
politics in West Bank
* Frank and Helen Telquaa (Indigenous Sovereignty organizers): water 
struggles on Indigenous territories in BC.
* Harsha Walia (No One Is Illegal): Narmada struggle and recent Anti- Coke 
victories in India

3:15-5:15 pm: "Borders of Exploitation and Occupation”

Borders, a creation of colonization, are the cartographies of struggle for both 
indigenous communities in the territories in the North and for immigrants 
fleeing former colonial regimes in the South.
