Got an idea for a zine? Does your zine encompass the theme of social 
justice, environment, anti-racism, human rights etc?  Is it locally 
producted?

SFPIRG is looking for your zine and other publication proposals to fund.  
Our Zine Fund will be awarding up to $250 toward one or more zines.  
Deadline is Tuesday June 15th.  For more details on how to apply, see our

Below are more details on how to request various types of donations 
from SFPIRG.

SFPIRG is SFU's social justice and environmental resource centre.  SFPIRG 
is promoting the availability of funds to support local grassroots social 
and environmental justice work.  

You can apply for funds in the following ways:

1.	The SFPIRG donations committee continually accepts applications 
for donation requests for amounts under $300.  To apply send a letter to 
SFPIRG's Donation Committee outlining your request. Include how much you 
are requesting, the nature of your organization and the reason you are 
requesting funding.

2.	SFPIRG has fund to support the production of grassroots zines and 
publications.  Anyone is welcome to apply to this fund.  Please fill out 
the Zine Fund Donation Request Form and submit it to the SFPIRG donations 
committee. These funds are dispersed three times per year -- The 
next deadlines is June 15, 2004.

3.	If you have a larger project or initiative we have a Fund for 
Larger donations. These requests are for amounts over $300. Please fill 
our the Large Donation  Request Form and submit it to the SFPIRG donations 
committee. These funds are dispersed three times per year --  The 
next deadline is July 1, 2004.
 
To apply, please fill out the appropriate form.  They, along with more 
detailed criteria and other information,  are available on the SFPIRG 
website at www.sfu.ca/~sfpirg or in the SFPIRG office, TC 326.

The requests are reviewed by the SFPIRG donations committee.  Any
