First Call FOR THE CHILDREN Fundraising Dinner

As you may know, I am the Chair of First Call: BC Child and Youth
Advocacy Coalition.

Every year, First Call hosts a fundraising dinner to celebrate the
contributions of a child and youth advocate in BC, and to raise funds to

support ongoing advocacy.  Recent honourees include Joyce Preston and
Cindy Carson.

This year, we are honouring the work of Paul Pallan, the former
Children's Commissioner for BC.

First Call's annual event is becoming known for its fabulous food,
tremendous entertainment, and celebration of achievement, with people
feeling re-energized to go out and continue this necessary work.

This year's dinner is Wednesday, February 04th,  and will again be held
at the Fraserview Hall, and features the music of Jabulani, who you will

remember from Pacific Community Resources' AGM in June.

To enjoy a wonderful evening of celebration among friends, I hope you
will consider purchasing tickets, and invite others to join you as well.

Adults - $30
Youth / Unemployed - $15
