[van-announce] Artists For Peace - Wednesday meeting.

If you are interested in helping out with the creative Idea process of the
Artists For Peace / Artist Against War group.
Here is your invitation.
The group meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 1688 E 4th apt 410, 8pm.

How does the group work ?
Artists For Peace is a non-consensus, non leadership based group.
People vote with action rather than words.
On Wednesdays people get together, talk, eat cookies and come up with ideas.
If somebody comes up with a good idea, the people who like that idea will
make it happen.
i.e. vote with action rather than words. ( Kind of like a critical mass bike
ride )
The Wednesday meeting is not just for Artists For Peace, its open to other
groups as well.
In the Year 2003 we have organised events with Bikes not bombs, Vegan
voices, the Stop the FTAA Council, the Work Less Party and the Stop War
coalition. Artists For Peace is not about competition, it is about community
action.
The next meeting is Wednesday Jan 7th. - You and your ideas are invited.

Our next major event is Jan10th at the WISE hall. -Hope to see you all
there, the place is going to ROCK.
