Next Meeting of Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO):
Wednesday December 8

6:30pm

at the Britannia Community Center (1661 Napier St, where Napier meets Commercial Drive)

This Wednesday will mark that 1 month has passed since the US began their all-out attack and massacre on the people of Falluja in Iraq. Most of the city's 300,000 people have been forced to leave the city and in recent days have been rallying in nearby towns, demanding to return to their homes. The events in Iraq and the ongoing struggle of the Iraqi people for self-determination puts our work into context, showing us how important it is. It also shows us how we have no choice other than to stand in solidarity with people struggling against occupation, struggling to defend their lives against imperialism, and organize actively and consistently to support them from where we are. 

Come out to the MAWO meeting this week to get involved with organizing the January 20th International Day of Action against the war and occupation in Iraq. Get involved with us and struggle to unite all oppressed people under the demand for "Self-Determination Now!"
