Job Posting: Bookkeeper
This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient administration of VSW finances.

Primary Responsibilities:

Financial reconciliation of accounts and funds

Manage accounting software (QuickBooks Pro 2003) & maintain accounting files 

Preparation of monthly financial statements and grant financial reporting

Process accounts payable and receivables

Coordinate and evaluate budgets

Coordinate audit & reconcile auditor's reports

Prepare & reconcile payroll, ROEs, T4s, T4As

Summary calendar year end reporting

 

Qualifications:

Intermediate accounting skills

Experience with QuickBooks Pro software and job costing

Experience in bookkeeping for non-profit organizations

Strong organizational and administrative skills 

Knowledge and experience working collectively within a feminist organization

Awareness of issues faced by historically marginalized communities, including Aboriginal women, women of colour, women with disabilities, queer women

 

Position Details: 

This is a contract position at 15 hours per month at $25/hour.
