Since August 5th, throughout Najaf, the US military attacked the people of Iraq with renewed severity. Attacks like this one, demonstrate that since the June 28th "Handover of Power" the US military is still fighting to rule Iraq. 

Mass strikes, demonstrations and protests have occurred throughout the nation demanding true sovereignty and the full withdrawal of occupation forces. 

On August 28th, MAWO will again take to the streets of Vancouver to demand self-determination for Iraq. THE WAR IS NOT OVER! THE OCCUPATION IS NOT OVER! HANDS OFF IRAQ!
