Hello Everyone,

The next meeting of Mobilization Against War and Occupation is this 
Wednesday, August 11th at 6:30pm, Britannia Community Centre (Commercial 
Drive at Napier Street) and everyone is invited to attend to get involved in 
building this effective movement against war and occupation.

This year's Under the Volcano festival of resistance was an exciting success 
for MAWO. We collected more than five hundred signatures on the Operation: 
Canada Out! Campaign against Canadian imperialist involvement in Haiti and 
Afghanistan and had MAWO speakers on the mainstage and in festival 
workshops. As MAWO organizer Nicole Burton said from the mainstage, this 
movement is growing with the intense and effective resistance in Iraq at the 
forefront and united, we will win and beat back this era of imperialist war, 
destruction and occupation. Join Us!
