PLEASE TAKE 5 MINUTES IN DEFENSE OF ONE MANS LIFE:

Environmental, human and animal rights activist Tre Arrow, currently being 
held in Canada's North Fraser Pretrial Center on IMMIGRATION charges, is 
being held in solitary confinement and is being denied a diet in keeping with 
his beliefs (vegan). In the 4 months he has been incarcerated he has suffered 
catastophic weightloss, and is now down to 91 pounds

When you make your call and fax your letter, YOU ARE HELPING TO CONTRIBUTE TO 
THE FORCE OF MANY (the media has taken notice, his parents have done 
interviews with www.cbc.ca, etc.)  HE IS ONLY 91 pounds, has been subjected 
to harassment by guards and facility staff,  and now the facility has 
segregated him from the general population under the guise of "medical 
observation" and are withholding THE FOOD HE NEEDS--fresh fruits and 
veggies....IT IS INHUMANE......he has lost over 50 pounds since his 
incarceration.   A reporter who had the rare opportunity to see him yesterday 
reported that she could  "see every bone" in his body, and he is SO WEAK.  He 
needed assistance to get up stairs to the interview.  The guard held him under 
the armpits!

He is in this facility (almost 4 months) for IMMIGRATION 
proceedings,  he is not violent, and he is NOT a criminal.  Yet he is being 
subjected to cruel, inhumane, FASCIST treatment

The North Fraser Pretrial Center facility has REFUSED to allow him a vegan 
diet, or even regular access to a variety of fresh fruits or veggies .  He's 
built trusting rapport with others in general population who trade with him 
every once in a while when raw, or fresh food is on their trays.  However, 
the selection is neither consistant nor well rounded, so he may go several 
days with nothing and then get 6 bananas (via trades), he can't consume all 
that at once, yet the fascist facility refuse to let him keep any food in his 
cell over night.

He went to the in-house physician on Friday, AND WHEN HE CAME BACK, HIS 
APPLE HAD BEEN REMOVED!!!!!!!!  THIS WAS DURING THE DAY.......a guard at the 
North Fraser Pretrial Center DELIBERATELY removed what was his only 
sustenance for the day!!!!!!!!  THIS IS AN OUTRAGE AND THE FACILITY AND THE 
ATTORNEY GENERAL NEED TO HEAR FROM US!!!!!!!!!!

HE'S STARVING TO DEATH....we are flooding the guy below with pleas to put 
him back into general population, so he can at least trade foods and get 
some fresh fruits and veggies......if you can make ONE CALL, CALL

Please request he be moved back to general population TODAY, and 
DEMAND that the facility provide a reasonable variety of produce in keeping
