All events 12noon to 2pm at campuses across the Lower Mainland unless otherwise noted.

- Simon Fraser University: 10:30 to 2:30; Freedom Square

Thursday Sept 18:

- University of British Columbia: outside of Koerner's Library; forum and discussion
 
Last Spring, students all throughout the Lower Mainland organized forums, walk outs and massive demonstrations against the war on the people of Iraq. This work was organized alongside trade unions, churches and community groups to mass in Vancouver's part of the largest international mobilizations in history. 
 
This fall, these colleges and universities are coming back into session and the war on Iraq is not over. This war has stepped into its next stage in the US strategy for military and political domination in the Middle East and throughout the whole world. Building the movement against war and occupation in Vancouver and throughout the Lower Mainland is more important than ever.
 
On September 28, StopWar.ca is participating in an international day of action against war and occupation with a mass demonstration in downtown Vancouver. 
 
StopWar.ca has called a Student Week Against War, September 15 to 22nd, to bring students back into the coalition to re-take a leading position in the movement against the occupation of Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan.
