This fall (October 14th 23rd) the Access to Media Education Society (AMES)
is offering 22 young women (between the ages of 16 and 18) ten FULLY
SUBSIDIZED action-packed-days of hands-on-movie-making at the Gulf Islands
Film & Television School (GIFTS). Every successful applicant will get a
chance to work with a team of accomplished filmmakers and other creative
youth to create a series of ads that will help educate the television
viewing public about what makes young girls want to smoke and why they
should resist!
Could you please forward this application to organizations or individuals
that you think might be interested in participating in this program?
Many thanks,
Deb

"Love is profoundly political. Our deepest revolution will
come when we understand this truth. Only Love can
give us the strength to go forward in the midst of
heartbreak and misery. Only Love can give us the
power to reconcile, to redeem, the power to renew weary
spirits and save lost souls. The transformative power of
Love is the foundation of all meaningful social change."
