Cost: free

An opportunity for youth and other community members to share ideas on what 
young people can do. This panel discussion will focus on human rights in 
Colombia, and the experiences of youth and Indigenous movements, internal 
displacement, international solidarity, poverty, and community capacity-building.

Canadian individuals and organizations have been working in solidarity with 
Colombian people. In the summer of 2003, a group of young Canadians 
connected with urban youth and rural indigenous communities in Colombia.

Don Wright: Regional Development Coordinator, BC/Yukon Amnesty 
International, Canadian Section
Jorge Munoz: former human rights defender in Colombia (Defensor del Pueblo)

Leoncio Ventura & Katrina Ao: Canada-Colombia Youth Solidarity Caravan
