Featuring Lloyd Axworthy
Lloyd Axworthy spent 21 years in Federal Parliament and held a number of
Cabinet positions, including Minister of Foreign Affairs. In that portfolio,he
was an international leader in seeking to ban anti-personnel landmines,
and his efforts were recognized with a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize.
He is currently the Director of Liu Centre for the Study of Global Issues at the
University of British Columbia. His book, Navigating a New World: Canada's
Global Future, has just been published.
