ubc (bike kitchen - basement of the s.u.b.)

Friday, 10th of October 2003 from 10:00 AM until approximately 6:00 PM

the ams bike co-op has disignated oct. 10 as ubc bike to school day, and is 
challenging students, faculty, staff and anyone else coming out to the 
campus to ditch their smog box and show a little love for mother earth by 
riding their bike to school. bike day events will be going on all day at the 
bike kitchen, ubc's non profit bike shop, including free safety checkups, 
great deals on safety and commuting gear for you and your trusty steed, and 
free vegan treats and fair trade coffee for hungry and thirsty cyclists. 
plus, come by for a sneak peek at our new public bike fleet and enter to win a 
swanky new messenger bikes.
