membership of Stopwar.ca

This is an email from Mobilization Against War
and Occupation (MAWO) to show our support for the
rally that you are organizing on December 4th to
'Stop the War at Home and Abroad.' At our last
meeting we voted to endorse this event. Though,
in our view, some of the demands being put
forward for this rally are not very clear, we see
this rally as being within the framework of
taking action against war, and support it on that
basis. We are also recommending to our members
and supporters that they attend this event.

Protest Paul Martin and Canada's participation in war and occupation!

Thursday, December 4 

Gather at 5:30p.m. Sheraton Wall Centre (Burrard at Nelson, downtown). 

Prime Minister -in-waiting Paul Martin will be in Vancouver December 4th for a gala $290/plate fundraiser. StopWar.ca will be organizing a welcome of our own, with a picket outside the Sheraton Wall Centre to demand:  Canadian troops out of Afghanistan, no participation in the U.S. National Missile Defense program, and an end to the war at home against immigrants, refugees and indigenous people.
