Vancouver Status of Women will be holding another Volunteer Information Session.  If you are interested in feminist activism around anti-poverty and anti-oppression issues, please check us out.

We have several projects at Vancouver Status of Women.  Our most recent projects include:

The Women and Welfare Research Group - currently working on a resource guide for women on welfare and will soon be planning forums to address the cuts to welfare and how they effect women

The Anti-Oppression Working Group - who are currently participating in a combination of readings around issues of oppression and workshop training through popular education principles.  We are gearing up to give workshops in January.  You could be part of the super-star team that challenges white supremacy, capitalism, patriarchy, able-ism and homophobia! What are you waiting for? 

The Feminist Information and Referral Line: Our most popular service, this line serves to connect women to advocates, feminist lawyers and organizations to meet their needs.  You will receive training!
