In a world gone mad, take to your bike and cycle to Mexico WTO Free the
People and Feed the Earth Caravan.

On July 27th, youth from across Canada will be setting out from Vancouver
British Columbia, bound for the 5th Ministerial of the World Trade
Organization in Cancun Mexico, 3000 kilometers away.

We will be traveling by bike, stopping in communities, and talking to
people about one of the key areas up for negotiation in Mexico:
Agriculture.

Our food, where it comes from and how it is grown are issues that affect
everyone.  Trade liberalization is having a disastrous impact on people
and agricultural systems around the world.

It is critical that North Americans understand what is at stake during the
negotiations in Mexico. Decisions will affect everything from the
struggles of migrant farm workers to pesticide use to climate change.

Its time for local, organic, fair and sustainable agriculture.  Its time
for citizens and civil society to have a say in international
deliberations.  Its time to get on your bike!
