GET ON THE JUSTICE BUS!

The Bus Riders Union: Building a Grassroots Movement for Social and 
Environmental Justice

Re-inventing a Left practice in the age of imperialist globalization starts 
on the ground: in neighborhoods, welfare lines, daycare centres, schools, 
lunch-rooms and on the buses.

The Bus Riders Union is an experiement in building a multi-racial, gender-
balanced, mass movement based on the transporation needs of working class 
people. Our strategy includes:

* working at the grassroots organizing the unorganized

* bridging the gap between workplace and community struggles

* direct contact with working class and marginalized people on the bus and in 
the community

* building unity in the Left

* meaningful solidarity with Third World movements
