Please see the following announcement below for an
amazing week of one-day training sessions related to
community development and community organizing,
taking place from June 16 to 20. This non-credit,
accessible Summer Program is organized by the Institute
in Management and Community Development, Concordia
University, Montreal, Quebec.
As well, complementary to the Summer Program's one-
day training sessions is the first-ever summer Freedom
School 2003 for youth of colour and aboriginal youth
in July & August. It's organized by the Colours of
Resistance Network and the Student-Worker Solidarity
Summer Project. It's 8 weeks of paid part-time
political education and skills training. Dateline for

in Management and Community Development, Concordia
University:
The Institute in Management and Community
Development is holding its 11th annual Summer Program
on Loyola Campus from June 16 to 20, 2003. The
Summer Program is a bilingual training program for social
justice activists, community development workers and
engaged citizens. Those who cannot afford the
registration fees may work in exchange for participation
during the week of the Summer Program (2 days work / 3
days participation - must be functionally bilingual).
Among the 85 training sessions are:
