[van-announce] VANDU: Protest 55 More Cops in the DTES (March 22nd)

On Saturday, March 22, Vandu is planning an action to protest the VPD's
transfer of 55 police officers from community policing stations into the
down town east side. The down town east side needs access to safe
injection sites not more cops. The provincial, federal & municipal
governments haven't supplied funding for this much needed service but they
have money for more enforcement!!

So just stand up and say yes to safe injection site funding and NO to more
pigs! Join Vandu and allies at 1pm Saturday, March 22 at the Lifeskills
Centre on Cordova St. (across from Oppenhiemer park).
