The Facilitation Group, BCGEU, BCTF, HEU, SFPRIG, and SFU's Centre for
Labour Studies Invite you to

Share an evening with George Lakey

George has been an activist and leader in a wide range of social change
movements. He's trained as a sociologist. He has taught at the college in
a graduate level and is the author of six books, including A Manual for
Direct Action, often called the "Bible" of direct action by southern civil
rights activists in the 60's.

The evening will be interactive with an opportunity for questions and
discussion. George will be sharing stories and insight on how movements
around the world are fighting oppression through non-violent tactics and
strategy, including protest and civil disobedience.

Monday March 31, 2003
7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
SFU Harbour Centre
