Environmental Health & Justice Conference
SAT APRIL 19, 9 am - 5:30 pm,
Seattle University School of Law Sullivan Hall, 12th & Columbia,
Seattle
The one-day conference features grassroots indigenous peoples and
people of color organizers who are addressing issues of environmental
racism and economic justice. Come listen to some of the most dynamic
and engaging organizers and activist.
Keynote Speaker: Mililani Trask (Hawai'ian), an indigenous Hawaiian
attorney, an inspirational and strong advocate for indigenous rights.
Workshops Include: Urban Environmental Justice, Globalization,
Indigenous Peoples and Environmental Justice, Militarism, Youth
Organizing and Environmental Justice, Rural & Economic Justice,
International Environmental Justice Issues, Skills Building Workshops.
Conference Fee: $0-$30 Sliding Scale, Childcare Available. Must
