SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR SUTIKALH CAMP

Sutikalh was established on May 6th 2000 to fight a $550 million dollar
ski resort proposal on BC’s Coast Mountains. Sutikalh is in St’at’imc
Territory protecting the sacred Melvin Creek Watershed of the pristine
Cayoosh Range. Indigenous soveriegntists have maintained the camp for 3
years stopping Nancy Greene Raine’s racist ski-lust from getting out of
control. Olympic Gold Medalist Nancy Greene also owns the Sun Peaks ski
resort at Skwelt’wek Welt north of Camloops. Four warrior youth are
currently jailed for fighting the resort expansion there. The people
aren’t allowed on to their own sacred lands.

On March 15th allies from Vancouver will pay the camp another visit. We
are building more formal links with the struggle. Should the Olympic
decision come to Vancouver there would be a real need to fight for that
land and water. Sutikalh is in constant need of support. For three years
dedicated people have done tours of duty at the camp, and lived the very
quiet cold fight.
