State Terrorism and Human Rights Violations in the Philippines

Gruesome testimonies from relatives of murder victims reveals the hidden human 
rights violations by the Philippine government in the documentary 
‘Alingawngaw ng Punlo’, confirming Amnesty International’s recent 
report on the country’s human rights record.  

Alingawngaw will be shown at the SFU Harbour Centre (Hastings) campus on Friday, July 4th 
at 7 PM.

After the film showing, there will be a panel discussion lead by Luningning 
Alcuitas-Imperial of BCCHRP, Beth Grayer of Grassroots Women and Emmanuel 
Sayo of the Kalayaan Centre all of whom recently returned from the Philippines.
