PLEASE DISTRIBUTE WIDELY

NAC-BC Society is holding our AGM and Spring Conference June 20-22. We
realize that
this is short notice, but we have had a busy year in the province of BC and
many events have
worked to delay our confirmation of this event. In this time of obvious
struggle for women in
this province, it is imperative that we unite and revitalize, while we learn
and educate each
other. We (The Whole) are much stronger than our parts. United our
strength is not added to,
but multiplied Friday Evening NAC-BC Society will hold a fundraiser
(everyone welcome)at Zesty's. NAC-BC Co-Reps, Debra Rymer and Bev Meslo will
be accepting registrations for the conference at the door. This is a fun
event with an enormous bouquet of talent. Come and celebrate WOMEN in all
our diversity. Saturday morning our workshops begin. We will be at the hall
at 8 am with a lite breakfast for all. At 9 am there will be short
introductions (we promise) an acknowledgment of what has been accomplished
in the last year. An update on what we are doing and what we hope to do in
the coming year. One workshop is scheduled for the morning and one for the
afternoon. Both workshops will reflect the need for action around women's
issues and how women can empower themselves and others to respond to the
negative impact of the cuts on women. These workshops are fun, informative
and invigorating.
YOU WILL KNOW THAT THERE IS SOMETHING FOR YOU TO DO and YOU WILL
KNOW HOW TO DO IT.
Saturday evening we will be offering all delegates the opportunity to share
dinner and conversation at a local restaurant near the hall. (optional).
Sunday morning we will be holding our AGM. NAC-BC Society is your
organization and the AGM is your opportunity to set the course for its
future.
