  Victory Squat calls on all support to defeat this government!

This Saturday July 26th at noon, the Victory Squat is escalating its
occupation of city parks. We will be marching to a different location and
setting up shelters to expose the brutality of homelessness. Although the
location is changing, the demands remain the same: SOCIAL HOUSING FOR ALL
IN NEED! And END THE TWO-YEAR TIME LIMIT, IMMEDIATELY!

These two demands have initiated the campaign that will defeat this
Liberal regime - we need you to stand behind us.  We are asking all
supporters to bring what they can of the following list of supplies to
Victory Square as soon as possible before Saturday's move:

*wood
*nails
*sheets of plywood
*tools (esp. hammers)
*tarps
*ropes
*tents
*blankets
*non-perishable food
*rope
*nails/screws

These supplies will be used by the Anti-Poverty Committee, Housing Action
Committee and the Victory Squatters to build shelters for those who have
nothing.

Financial donations are also needed and greatly appreciated.  Cheques can
be written to the Anti-Poverty Committee or deposits can be made directly
into the APC account at any Vancity Credit Union branch.  If you would
like more information about how or where to make any kind of donation,
please call the APC office at 604-682-2726.


This government is unfit to rule and must be defeated!
