[van-announce] Supplies Needed for Tent City

PLEASE FORWARD WIDELY (APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTINGS)!

The APC/HAC Tent City at Victory Square is still going strong (despite a 
late night encounter with the park's automatic sprinklers and a major fire 
this morning in the block beside the park).

We need donations of supplies at this time; as we are both primarily 
organizations of poor people, funds to buy needed supplies has been limited, 
and basics like tents and tarps were a priority.

At this time we need donations of the following:


PHONE CARD(S)
FLASH LIGHTS
BROOM & DUST PAN
LAWN RAKE
HEAVY-DUTY GARBAGE BAGS

Just come on down to Victory Square (Hastings and Cambie) and ask for Russ, 
Ingrid, Tony, Dave, Shawn or Maryann.


We also still need supporters to stay overnight in the park, especially 
folks with video cameras (the type that don't need lighting are particularly 
good).
