OUT-O MEETING ON THURSDAY JANUARY 30th at 8p.m.
MORE VOLUNTEERS, AND GROUPS NEEDED TO FIGHT THE IOC IN MARCH

The mayor will be chairing three public forums about the Olympics on the
Saturdays of February 1,8,15.  At last Friday's Oust the Olympics meeting it
was agreed that there should be a way to harness peoples anger about the
Olympics.  Many people will go to the Public Forums that the mayor will
mediate and they will not get enough voice.

On Saturday February 1st, OUT-O will be inviting people to a counter forum.
There will be a space booked and people at the Croatian Cultural Centre will
be invited to speak their voice, while hearing what some of the groups
opposing the Olympics will be up to.

The organizing meeting will be at the Anti Poverty Committee office on 42
Blood Alley (just south of Woodwards) Thursday January 30th at 8p.m.  We
will also be discussing the proposed action on February 11th for the
Disability Community as more information becomes known about it.
There will be another OUT-O meeting on Monday February 3rd (location TBA).
At that meeting preparations for the February 8th forum will be underway,
while we discuss the upcoming calendar.

GO TO THE FEBRUARY 1st PUBLIC FORUM 9a.m.-1p.m. at the Croatian Cultural
Centre.  Tell the Mayor what you think.
