International Day of Action To Say :

"No to War on Iraq"

Saturday, January 18th: 1 p.m.

On January 18th, the anniversary of the start of the Gulf War, join
millions of citizens around the world to oppose a new war on
Iraq.

1 p.m. -March against war, gathering at Library Square (350 W
Georgia St).

2 p.m. - Rally at Art Gallery, Georgia St side,
with speakers on:
-Why oppose the war on Iraq
-The Palestinian situation
-Keep Canada out of the war
Music by D.O.A.

3 p.m. - Canadian Peace Team Report Back
Four women who have just returned
from Iraq will give a report and show
video footage of their trip.

Organized by the November 17th Peace Coalition, which meets
Wednesdays at 5:30 at the Maritime Labour Centre.
