Vancouver Anarchist Social Night 
Sunday January 5 at 7 PM 
at Cafe Deux Soleil

You and your friends are invited to meet up the first 
Sunday of each month at 7 pm at Cafe Deux Soleil (2096 
Commercial Dr.) for activist / anarchist / anti-authoritarian 
discussion, community-building and merry-making. The venue 
is all-ages, has relatively cheap beer and coffee and should be 
quiet enough for discussion. Our hopes are that the Anarchist 
Social Night will help to make our community networks more 
tight, our activism more effective and our theory more relevant to 
emerging situations. We envision possibilities emerging out of 
this such as having monthly guest speakers, a local anarchist 
publication, maybe eventually even an Italian-style "Social 
Center," amongst other things - a "vanarchy" email listserv now 
has over 40 members and is filled with interesting debates and 
discussions going on at 
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vanarchy. Please note that like 
the listserv, the social night is not limited to any one tendency 
within anarchism.
