F10: A Five Ring Circus ? The Great Olympic Debate ! 7pm, Christian
Reformed Church 9280 No. 2 Road, Richmond. Do you support the Vancouver
2010 Olympic Bid ? Speakers: Yes *Vancouver 2010 Bid Corporation* David
Podmore &Terry Wright, NO *No Games 2010 Coalition* Phil LeGood & Chris
Shaw. Moderator: Paul Winskell. Each side will have 20 minutes to present
their point of view. After the presentations there will be an question and

F10: Lower Mainland Coalition for Social Justice meeting, 5:30 pm at BCGEU
(3030 East Broadway) Agenda:  Labour Solidarity Actions/Olympics/May 16
Mobilization/Structure Committee Report and much much more.

F11: Stop the Reassessments ! Disability Community rally, starting 2pm at
VGH, marching to the City Council meeting at City Hall. At 4pm, Oust The
Olympics and No Games 2010 Coalition will put forth motions to halt the
reassessments and all City funding of the Olympic Bid.

F11: Vancouver 2010 Bid Open House, Simon Fraser University (G & H South
Concourse, AQ 3000 - SFU Campus, Burnaby) 11am - 3pm

F11: Lions Bay Community Advisory Group hosts a public discussion on the
Sea to Sky project, with corporate contractor SNC-Lavalin. 7:30pm Lions
Bay (either the Community Center or the Village Hall).

F12: Olympic Faceoff 2010. 7pm - 8:30pm Kino Cafe (3456 Cambie Street).
Debate between David Podmore (Team Yes) and Chris Shaw (Team No). For info

F12: Vancouver 2010 Bid Open House - North Vancouver Squamish Nation Rec
Centre - 100 Capilano Road, North Vancouver 3pm - 8pm

F12: 2010 - A Sweat Free Olympics? Join Mayor Campbell and the BC Ethical
Purchasing Group for an in-depth exploration of the propect of a Sweat
Free Olympics. 7pm, SFU Harbour Center, Room 7000. Seating is limited,

F13: Bid Corp will be at the Vancouver 2010 Information Centre (200
Burrard Street) 3pm - 7pm

F14: Public Dreams Society will be hosting a parade in FAVOUR of the
Olympic Bid. Time/location TBA.

F14: 11:45 a.m. GRANVILLE ISLAND (in front of the Arts Club Theater (1585
Johnston Street). As "Billionaires for the Olympics" the Friends of Frida
invite you to join the opening event of Celebration 2010, the Public
Dreams Community Parade. In costume or not, join us in our culture-jamming
of this event. We'll be handing out leaflets and song sheets and generally
satirizing the whole idea of the Olympics being a grassroots community

F14: PEOPLE'S PROM Valentines Day party, fundraiser for an Olympic-free
Vancouver. Friday, February 14th at the Church of Pointless Hysteria (110
West Hastings across from Woodwards)Doors open 9pm (Capacity is limited).
Cost is 6 bucks with Prom gear, 8 without.

F14: DERA meeting re Olympic Games. Carnegie Center (401 Main Street)10:00
a.m. to Noon

F15: Public forum: economic impacts of the Games. 9am - 1pm, Downtown
library.

F15: Trout Lake Community Center (3pm - 7:30pm) Bid Corporation display.
No Games representatives will be there with counter information.

F15: West End Community Centre 3pm - 5pm. No Games 2010 Coalition will
represent the "No" side (Phil LeGood or Chris Shaw). BC Greens will be
leafletting.

F15: Emily Carr student parade. Nnoon start, at the Crane area near Emily
Carr. the route isn't finalized, but should be ending at the Waterpark
area.  

F17: Bid Corp will be at Richmond Centre Mall 9:30am - 6:00pm (6551 No 3
Road) 

F18: Grandview Woodlands Forum at Britannia School Cafeteria
(Napier/Commercial Britannia complex) 7pm-9pm

F18: Vancouver 2010 Bid Presentation - Squamish Chamber of Commerce (Best
Western Sea to Sky Hotel, Squamish) Starting at 12:30pm, Bid
Representative, Doug Kelsey, will provide an overview and update the
current plans in the bid process for the 2010 Winter Games.

F18: Vancouver 2010 Bid Presentation - Vancouver AM Hotel General
Managers, Terminal City Club (Vancouver) 7:00am - 9:00am. Vancouver 2010
Bid President, John Furlong, will provide an overview and update the
current plans in the bid process for the 2010 Winter Games.

F18: Vancouver 2010 Bid Open House - West End Community Centre 3:00pm -
7:00pm (870 Denman Street)

F18: Community Forum, 7 pm at the Britannia Cafeteria. Mayor Campbell will
be there as well as a Bid Corp rep, Phil LeGood (No Games) and a rep from
the Lower Mainland Coalition for Social Justice.

F18: Lions Bay public meeting, 7pm - 9pm at the Village Hall. All are
welcome.

F19: Liberal budget is released

F19 or 20 (still not determined): CBC Radio with a live audience (Chris
Shaw will represent the "No" side

F20: CBC Debate, Wosk Center for Dialogue (Hastings/Seymour). Mayor
Campbell, Chris Shaw, Adriane Carr and David Podmore. 7:30 - 9pm (audience
welcome) 

F20: Vancouver 2010 Open House - Roundhouse Community Centre Great Hall
(181 Roundhouse Mews - beside BC Place Stadium) 3:00 - 7:00pm
(presentation at 4:00pm)

F20: Vancouver 2010 Bid Presentation - Buildex Vancouver Conference/Media
Edge Communications Inc. 9:00am podium. (999 Canada Place) Vancouver 2010
Bid Vice President of Bid Development and Operations, Terry Wright, will
provide an overview and update the current plans in the bid process for
the 2010 Winter Games.

F22: Plebescite voting day - all Coalition members need to commit to
working this day for phone banks, polling station leafletting, etc. MARK
YOU CALENDARS !!

F23: CBC TV 7-9 pm (Chris Shaw and possibly Adriane Carr will be guests)

F23: GLOVES OFF! strategy meeting 1:30 - 5:30 in the Britannia cafeteria.
 
F27: Vancouver 2010 Bid Presentation - Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce
8:00am Executive Plaza Hotel - 405 North Road, Coquitlam.  Vancouver 2010
Bid Vice Chair, Don Calder, will update the current plans in the bid
process for the 2010 Winter Games. 

F27: Vancouver 2010 Bid Presentation - BC Building Envelope Council
Presentation at 12:40pm. Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre,
Parkview Terrace Room (999 Canada Place). David Podmore, will update the
current plans and activities in the bid process for the 2010 Winter Games.
This presentation will cover the proposed venues and infrastructure
requirements. 

M2-6: "Gloves Off" campaign begins during the IOC visit (this time frame
will be broken down into segments by OUT-O as planning continues)
 
M6: "Gloves Off" wrap up party at the Wise Hall (hosted by the No Games
2010 Coalition)
