Saturday, 24th of January 2004 from 12:00 PM until approximately 3:00 PM

Cost: Free

Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO, Vancouver's antiwar coalition) is 
calling a major demonstration on January 24th against war and against occupation.

As the war develops in Iraq there is increasing pressure on people throughout 
the world to accept the denial of sovereignty of Iraqis in favor of a UN 
occupation. 
As a result the political focus and demands of this demonstration are: 

OCCUPATION IS OCCUPATION! Hands Off Iraq! No to US/UK Occupation! No to UN Occupation! 
Bring the Troops Home Now! Self-Determination for Iraqis, Palestinians, 
and Afghans! Self-Determination for Indigenous People! 

This demonstration is gathering at the Vancouver Art Gallery at 12 noon, January 
24th, 2004.
