placards and noise-makers.*
Sun Peaks Ski Resort & Delta Hotels are built on Secwepemc territories,  
known as Skwelkwek'welt, that have never been ceded, released, nor 
surrendered. The Secwepemc peoples are fighting a $70 million expansion of 
Sun Peaks Resort which includes development of luxury hotels, tennis courts, 
ski and skidoo runs, etc.

Over the last five years, the Secwepemc have attended various"stakeholder" 
meetings and clearly said "NO" to the expansion of the Resort. Land and 
Water BC disregarded their "stake", and in June
2001, obtained a court injunction to forcibly remove the Secwepemc from 
their homelands. Police/State repression has resulted in 54 arrests of  
Skwelkwek'welt defenders with charges ranging from criminal contempt and 
intimidation by blocking a road, to resisting arrest and breach of
bail conditions.

It is time for all those opposed to the Canadian colonial system and 
corporate globalization to support, through concrete actions of solidarity, 
the rights of the Secwepemc people fighting state & corporate interests in 
British Columbia.

Free admission.

PSG is holding classes every second Thursday until the end of April, 
covering the following topics:
Jan.8 - History of Zionism, 'Peace Agreements', the Israeli Left, Israeli 
Wars of Expansion.
Jan. 22 - Palestinian Resistance Movements, the culture of resistance.
Feb. 5 - Palestinian Refugees, and the Right of Return.
Feb. 19 - Palestinians, 'citizenship' and the Israeli State.
March 4 - Israeli Apartheid, the settlements, and the Apartheid Wall
March 18 - Israeli Capitalism, Palestinian Labour
April 1 - Palestinian Women's Resistance, Women Under Occupation.
April 15 - Water Resources, the environment and occupation.
April 29 - Political Prisoners: Palestinians in Israeli Jails.

Registration is $25 for the entire course or $5/class on a drop-in basis, no
