Holiday Wishes for Gordon Campbell
The Christmas Rush is on. We are running throughout the city, finishing up our end of year work; setting up our holiday plans; picking up gifts; mailing cards; and joining friends for Holiday Open House Celebrations. This is a busy bustling time full of fun and friendship.
While you are indulging in the spirit of the season please take the time to join Bev Meslo, the BC Representative of the National Action Committee on the Status of Women, at 11 am on Friday, December 19th at Gordon Campbell's Constituency Office, Vancouver-Point Grey Constituency Office, 3615 West 4th Ave.
Bev will be presenting Holiday Greetings to Gordon Campbell and his caucus in the form of a 3 foot tall Christmas card with comments and greetings from many Vancouverites. The card depicts Christmas in the DTES and includes the UN definition of "adequate housing". It will also include the Poverty and Human Rights Project Law Sheet on "The Right to Housing, Under International Human Rights Law".The comments written by the people of Vancouver are many and varied. You will have an opportunity to add your comments and wishes for the New year.
This will be a great kick off for the Holidays. It is a feel good exercise that will put a smile on your face and joy in your heart. During your busy Holiday Rush, you took a few minutes to make sure that Gordon Campbell receives a special message from the people of Vancouver. Bring your songs, bring your signs, but mostly bring yourself and your message to
3615 West 4th Ave.
at 11 am
on Friday the 19th of Dec.
Join Bev while she delivers our message for the Holidays to Gordon Campbell.
In Solidarity
