Camp Experience Your Dreams 


The camp's directive is to bring a diverse group of Sunshine Coast low
income and Vancouver inner city children (ages 8-13) together at Camp
Experience Your Dreams. The focus will be exploring our varied cultures
and communities, with an emphasis on our diverse histories through a
variety of workshops and activities. Another facet of the camp will be
exploring ways of creating "families" within our communities, cities and
schools. Breaking down the stigmas surrounding children around their
bodies, emotions and other related issues. Camp E.Y.D will also offer
workshops on dance, music, writing and physical activities such as,
soccer, rugby, field games, forest games, slip and slide etc. 


           THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD IS AUGUST 8TH.


PRICE: $5-25 per DAY, SLIDING SCALE depending on income. Included in
this price: 3 organic meals and snacks, rental of campsite and
instructed supervision. If this cost is not realistic for you please
contact us. The camp is available to any child wishing to come. The more
contributions we receive the more accessible the service. 


WHO: children ages 8-13. Maximum 75 children total. Room for 40 Sunshine
Coast children and 35 Vancouver children.


WHAT: Camp Experience Your Dreams, 3rd annual camp 


WHERE: Camp BYNG, Lower Rd, Roberts Creek

WHEN: August 21- August 24/2003. Transportation provided. There will be
five 

pick-up areas on the Sunshine Coast. Make sure you specify with the
Sunshine Coast Regional District registration where your child will be
getting picked up on August 21st and drop off August 24. 


WHY: To provide a camping experience for children who could not
otherwise attend camps due to their substantial costs.

HOW: Our enthusiastic Camp EYD staff are currently in the process of
fundraising and accepting donations form both Sunshine Coast and
Vancouver contributors. We are actively seeking volunteers, donations
and sponsorships to send a child to Camp E.Y.D. this summer. If you are
interested in sponsoring a child to attend Camp or volunteering please
