Although the event described below is being held in Seattle, it may be the only occasion in the region to hear from a participant at the latest World Congress of the Fourth International, held this February in Belgium.  Leftists, as well as anyone interested in the prospects for activist left internationalism should find this of interest.

Celebrate May Day with a revolutionary perspective
Sunday, May 4, 2:30pm

Guerry Hoddersen, feminist organizer and Marxist journalist, will give an eyewitness account of the 15th World Congress of the Fourth International which she attended with revolutionaries from Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia in February.  Her talk and an afternoon of labor songs and French cuisine commemorates May 1st, an international workingclass holiday enjoyed all over the world. 

A delicious "Vive la France" dinner will be served at 5:00pm for a $9.95 donation (sliding scale and work exchanges available for low income). Door donation is $2.00 (doors open at 2:00pm). 

The celebration will be held at New Freeway Hall, 5018 Rainier Avenue S., Seattle (on the #7 bus line). Everyone is welcome and the hall is wheelchair accessible.
