Hi Gord,Wonder if you have any Activists or Community Coalition folks
available up Whistler way for Thursday ...?

Here's the 'scoop' ... Gordo is speaking to the Union of BC
Municipalities at the Westin Hotel  in Whistler at 2:15 p.m. Thursday,
Septemebr 26th.

BCGEU is working on a "Welcoming Committee" for him.

The PLAN is to have our "Concerned Citizens" meet Carol Adams (GEU Staff
Rep) in front of the Liquor Store in Whistler Village at 11:00 a.m. She
will have leaflets, placards, supplies etc.

Then we will be leafleting the Convention delegates as they wander in
and out of the Westin over the Lunch Hour.

Gordo speaks at 2:25 p.m. "inside" .. .probably we will be 'making some
noise' outside at that time.

If you can attend that would be GREAT! .. if you know of others that you
could forward this message to.. that would be very helpful as well.
