RecallBC.com to hold Vancouver organizational meeting

Meeting: Monday September 30, 2002 in the Roundhouse
Place: Community Centre at 181 Roundhouse Mews
Time: 7:00-9:30pm.

RecallBC.com, the non-partisan group formed to bring accountability to the
BC Liberals through recall, has announced today the first of their Vancouver
area organizational meetings.

With the 18-month waiting period soon to be over, RecallBC plans to use
momentum and names gathered over the past 6 months to launch recall
campaigns across the province. Organizational campaigns by partner groups
are already well underway in constituencies such as Columbia
River-Revelstoke and South Delta.

"Now is the time that we have been working towards," says RecallBC
co-founder Jason Vranjkovic. "We expect a full house on Tuesday based on
the feedback we.ve been receiving," adds Matthew Laird.

The meeting will be one of a series of information and organizational
meetings in the Vancouver area to help any would be proponents begin a
campaign in their constituency. Though this initial meeting will focus on
Vancouver area constituencies, future meetings will be planned across the
Lower Mainland and province as requests are made. Of course all are welcome
to come out and attend.

At the end of the evening constituents will have sufficient knowledge to
become registered recall proponents with Elections BC for their
constituency. They will have met other interested recall proponents from
their constituency, and will be supplied with contact information for all
the people in their constituency who have indicated interest organizing a
recall campaign at our website, RecallBC.com over the past 6 months.

Further information can be found on RecallBC.s website or at 604-321-4406.
