Momentum Builds For Stop E$$O Day of Action, Oct. 26, 2002

Saturday October 26th is our turn to voice support for positive action on 
Climate Change. We can do this by spreading the "Don't Buy E$$O" 
message to the public and to Tim Hearn, CEO of Imperial Oil E$$O. 
Volunteers from across Canada have adopted E$$O stations for picketing 
but we need more!

Send an email to stopesso at stopesso.ca and tell us your name and the 
station you want to adopt, how we can contact you and what time you 
will be out there. We can then put you in touch with others in your area 
and include your location in the national press release.

International Stop E$$O week has begun! Actions have taken place in 
the US this past weekend with demonstrations in 50 cities, including the 
shutting down of an E$$O station in New York and one in Los Angeles. 
In the UK, the E$$O boycott has grown to 1 million motorists that have 
stopped buying E$$O because of E$$O's position on Climate Change! 
Other actions will be taking place internationally throughout the week.
