STOP THE ATTACKS!!!
DEMAND AN END TO POLICE BRUTALITY AND HARASSMENT!!!

The Collective Opposed to Police Brutality is calling for a demonstration
at the next VPD Board Meeting:
*What: Bring your banners, pickets, leaflets, doughnuts and voices
*Where: Vancouver Public Library, Downstairs
*When: Wednesday October 16, 2002 at 2:30 (Board meeting starts at 3:00
but we need people there by 2:30 PM sharp to "greet" the police board,
especially Chief Jamie Graham)
*Why: The VPD have escalated their brutalization of marginalized people
under the Gordon Kambell regime. Whether its throwing homeless people's
belongings into the garbage, kicking homeless people in the head,
abducting activists from the streets, beating-up young people in parks,
ignoring calls for a public inquiry into Vancouver's missing women, or
standing in the way of needed health and social services for addicts and
poor people, the VPD must be held to account by the people!
Enough is ENOUGH!!!
