Hi everyone,
A coalition of groups has come together to plan a massive rally on the
17th November against the war on Iraqi people.  Scott Ritter's talk last
Friday night has inspired many to 'switch into full gear' to make this
the biggest rally Vancouver has seen for a long time.

To make the march massive it needs to be as broad-based as possible, so
we will be approaching unions, churches, muslim organizations, ngos,
grass roots groups, students and women's groups to join the coalition.

As you were endorsers of the Scott Ritter forum, I wonder if now your
organization would like to join the "November 17th Peace Coalition"
which has been formed to mobilize for what, we hope, will be a historic
peace march. Already eighteen organizations have come on board since the
start of the organizing less than a week ago.

WE WANT TO SEND A VERY CLEAR MESSAGE TO THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT THAT
CANADIANS DO NOT SUPPORT BUSH'S WAR ON IRAQ.  

We need everyone to get involved who is against this war. So we do
hope your organization will support the march and help us promote it.

The first print run of the posters will be next Wednesday.  However, for
those of you who cannot respond by then, we will be doing a second and
third run of the printing so that everyone's names can be added to the
posters.
