Big Screen Videos & Discussion:
1. Democracy: An Alternative to Globalization by Naomi Klein,
2. End Poverty Not Welfare by Seth Klein,
3. Svend Robinson on Sanctions on Iraq
&
4. Highlights of Scott Ritters' No Case for War
These videos will be screened on Tuesday, October 8th, 7:30pm at Video In.
So folks, if you missed any of the above talks, here's a chance to see the
key highlights of each of the above speakers and in a safe and social
environment discuss among friends for Global Justice. We are hoping to
raise some cash at these events to help cover costs of sending a Global
Justice video producer to Quito, Equador for the FTAA summit at the end of
October so that we have some independent media coverage of what takes place
within the summit and what takes place in opposition to the FTAA in Equador.
A suggested donation of $5 to $10 would be welcome, but no one turned away
for lack of funds.
Date and time: Tuesday Oct 8th, 7:3Opm,
Place: Video In 1965 Main Street at 3rd (3 blocks south of
Main Street sky train station)
