Dear Friends,

We are excited to announce:
TONIGHT!
A live interview with
Professor Jose Maria Sison
Wednesday, October 2
Co-op Radio 102.7 FM
Tinig ng Masa (The People's Views on Philippine News)
6:00 p.m.

As many of you are well aware, overseas Filipino and human rights advocates
across Canada and all over the world have been campaigning to defend the
legitimate rights of Professor Sison who is facing political persecution by
the U.S., Philippine, and Dutch governments.

For over 30 years, Professor Sison has demonstrated his complete commitment
in leading the Filipino people towards genuine democracy and freedom with
great vision and determination. For his convictions, he has been living in
political exile in The Netherlands since 1989. He is a poet, professor, and
an inspiration to all those committed to genuine justice, freedom, and peace
in the international struggle against imperialism.

Now, in the midst of the 'anti-terrorism' hysteria being whipped up by the
U.S., Professor Sison has come under attack for his leadership in
consistently and conscientiously critiquing Philippine society, and the role
of U.S. imperialism in the current world economic and political crisis.

Tune in tonight to hear a live interview with Professor Sison on the only
Filipino radio show in Vancouver!
