[van-announce] Olympic Bid Corp Public Meeting Schedule

Hi Friends,

The following is a list of public presentation 'events'/open houses hosted
by the Vancouver Bid Corp.  Let's get people out to ask direct (and
awkward for them) questions and have some fun.

If we can put the Bid Corp on the spot at these public meetings, people
who are fence sitters or pro-olympics may rethink their position. Please
send this along to other groups who have an interest in how Gordo is
spending our tax dollars.

-Oct 2: SE False Creek Community MT Pleasant Community Centre 3161 Ontario

St. Vancouver. 4-7:30 pm.

-Oct 3: Hastings Community Centre, 3096 E Hastings, Vancouver, 5-8pm

-Oct 8: Hillcrest/Nat Bailey Stadium Park Area, Riley Park Community 
Centre, 
50 E 30th Ave, Vancouver, 4-8pm.

-Oct 9, UBC Residents, St Anselm's Anglican Church, 5210 Univ. Bldv. 
Vancouver (across from golf course), 4-8pm

-Oct 10, SFU Campus E and F, AQ 3000, South Concourse, Burnaby, 11am-3pm.

-Oct 15, UBC Campus, SUB, Rm 207/209 Sub Ballroom, 11am-3pm.

-Oct 16, Richmod Public Library, 7700 Minoru Gate, Richmond, 3-7pm.

-Oct 19, Cypress Alpine Base Area, West Van, 11-3.

- Nov 7, Vancouver 2010 Info Centre 200 Burrard St, 3-7.

- Nov 19, Van Public Library, Promenade, 350 W. Georgia St. 3-7.
