We received the following e-mail from the CSU concerning their awesome orientation events they've got happening at school, and I just wanted to pass it on to all of you. Most events are free! Check it out! Even more events/details are available at the Orientation website . 




For the final week of CSU’s Orientation, we have info and tickets for some awesome concerts and parties that we’d like to let you in on: 

1) CSU Orientation Concert : Featuring Stars, Mother Mother, Nomadic Massive and Lunice, this year’s Orientation concert is not to be missed! It will be taking place on Thursday September 15th at the Loyola Quad, starting at 5pm. Entrance to the concert is FREE to Concordia Students (Concordia ID needed), and you can come pick up your bracelet at the CSU office at our SGW (H-711, 10am-5pm Mon-Thurs) or Loyola offices (SC-115, 11am-4pm Tues-Thurs), or find us tabling in the Mezzanine between Monday and Wednesday this week. 2) Piknic Electronik : The CSU currently has about 150 PiknicElectronik tickets that are being sold for $8! They are good for any Piknic Electronik events from now until the end of the season. So if you're a fan of Piknic, or if you're afraid the CSU Orientation Concert is going to leave you wanting more awesome live music, come and buy your Piknic tickets from the CSU office any time this week! 

3) Hip-Hop Karaoke : A widely-known event to Montrealers that caters to karaoke fans and hip-hop heads, Hip-Hop Karaoke invites anyone to prove they've got what it takes to lay down some rhymes while dominating the stage and getting the crowd pumped up as they rap along to their favourite songs. Want to perform? Send an email to hhkmtl at gmail.com . Otherwise, if you're stage-shy but still want to catch the show, we'll see you on Saturday, September 17th at Le Belmont (4483 St. Laurent). Entrance is free to Concordia Students! Just don't forget to bring your Concordia ID.
