Hey Everyone,
Check out this e-mail from your CSU VPs Gonzo Nieto and Chad Walcott regarding tomorrow's demonstration against tuition fee hikes.
It's a great opportunity! Hope to see you all there tomorrow!

Hey clubs,
This Thursday, November 10 th , a province-wide demonstration by post-secondary students will take place to protest against the governments’ increase to tuition of $1625 over the next 5 years for Quebec residents. As has been the case in the past, this increase will be much larger for out-of-province and international students. For example, in 2007, tuition for Quebec residents increased by $500. Due to this increase, out-of-province students saw their tuition increase by $1500, while tuition for international students increased by $5000. All this is to say that non-residents always get hit hardest, so we need to stand together on November 10 th to fight against these increases – not only for our own sakes, but for the sake of our fellow students.
Concordia students will be meeting on the Reggies terrace (SGW) or the Loyola Quad (LOY) at 11am . Free food will be served at both locations, and buses will shuttle students from Loyola to SGW at 12:30pm. The march will be leaving SGW at 1pm to meet with the rest of the student movement.
On November 10 th , let’s all stand together, let’s stand against this increase, and let’s ensure Concordia students are well-represented in this province-wide fight against tuition increases.
See you on the streets,
Chad Walcott Gonzo Nieto
