Mass Demonstration in MONTREAL:
Fundraising Effort for Sanayeh Relief Center in BEIRUT....

----------------------------->
SUNDAY, AUGUST 6th, 1pm
Parc Lafontaine, Montreal
[north side at the corner of Rachel & De La Roche]
----------------------------->

Tadamon! is organizing a grassroots fundraising effort to coincide with
Sunday's Montreal demonstration in solidarity with Lebanon and Palestine.
Tadamon! members will be collecting funds for the Sanayeh Relief Center during
the march. Sanayeh Relief Centre is an initiative of Samidoun, a Beirut-based,
grassroots coalition born out of the July 2006 attack on Lebanon.

The Sanayeh Relief Center is composed of groups who were on the ground on the
first day of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon. They are coordinating among
humanitarian aid and the displacement centers in Beirut, providing essential
information, and organizing political action against the complicity of the
"international community".

At the upcoming Montreal demonstration in solidarity with Lebanon and
Palestine, representatives of Tadamon! will be collecting funds for the Sanayeh
Relief Center in well-marked red boxes. 100% of funds collected will go to the
Sanayeh Relief Center, which uses donations for its work with the displaced
people of Lebanon.

Under the continuing Israeli assault on Lebanon, Tadamon! Montreal is
continuing to develop and maintain connections with grassroots, independent
relief & political initiatives directly rooted in Lebanon's affected
communities.
