Since there is still a public health order prohibiting large gatherings, the Red Umbrella March for Sex Work Solidarity is being celebrated online only again this year.

In keeping with the Red Umbrella March theme of featuring different sex-worker activism histories, this year we have prepared a video celebrating the life of Margo St. James, who passed away in January. The slideshow video traces Margo’s history from the 1970s and 80s, and her influence on early Canadian activists. Run-time: 31 minutes.
